Finding Nether Quartz is not so difficult: you can choose get it from nature in survival mode, so follow the first option. If you are in creative mode, go directly to the second option.
OPTION ONE: GET NETHER QUARTZ FROM NATURE IN SURVIVAL MODE
1. Go in search of a Nether Quartz Ore Block
Go to the Nether and find a block of Nether Quartz Ore. Its appearance is like what you see in this photo:
2. Take a Pickaxe & Collect the item
Grab any type of pickaxe and dig into the block. You can use any type of pickaxe!
Climb onto the precipitated material once the destruction of the block is complete to collect the Nether Quartz in your inventory, so you can use it whenever you want! Really a breeze!
