This Minecraft tutorial explains How To Make an Observer in Minecraft with detailed screenshots and step-by-step instructed process.
The Observer is one of the many very useful tools you can find in Minecraft. With the Observer you can detect changes in neighboring blocks, but also create a Potion Trap, the Automatic Farm, the spectacular Flying Machine and much more. This guide shows you how to get an Observer in a few simple steps. So here I explain how to get it:
Required Materials to make an Observer in Minecraft:
Image | Name | Quantity |
Nether Quartz | 1 | |
Cobblestones | 6 | |
Redstone Dust | 2 |
Creating an Observer in Minecraft is very simple: you can choose crafting if you are in survival mode, so follow the first option. If you are in creative mode, go directly to the second option.
OPTION ONE: CRAFTING AN OBSERVER IN SURVIVAL MODE
1. Open the workbench grid
First, lay a workbench along the ground and right-click on it. A crafting grid similar to the one you see in the photo will open for you:
All you have to do is place the different materials inside the grid squares in the right order.
2. Place the materials in the fabrication grid
Now follow carefully how to insert the different materials into the manufacturing grid. You can help you by referring to the photo you see below:
First insert six cobblestone blocks into the top three squares and the bottom three squares in the crafting grid; then insert a unit of redstone dust in the central square and in the one immediately left left empty; finally complete with the Nether Quartz in the remaining square: you will see an Observer appear in the largest quadrant on the right!
3. Collect the item
Now you just have to click on the Observer and drag it to your inventory so you can use it when necessary. Really easy!
OPTION TWO: FIND AN OBSERVER IN CREATIVE MODE
You can find an Observer in different sections depending on the device used :
